Generation ship trail detected |
The Common Space Monitoring Committee believes it has located the engine trail of generation ship Minerva, launched in 2785. The vessel was headed towards the second planet of the Brantei star system and is one of the largest of the lost vessels, with a crew of 157.000 colonists.
Twenty-three generation ships still remain undetected, communication with them lost between the 29th and the 32nd century. Forty-seven pre-singularity engine generations ships and colonies were located in the past five centuries. Of these, thirty-eight were detected and contacted by the Common Space Monitoring Committee. |
