Mars: Rightful Earth Alliance stops offensive on sub-refineries |
After thirty-eight hours of intense fighting the Rightful Earth Alliance has called off the attacks on the sub-refineries of sector 93-RECO on Mars.
Spokesmen of REA have declared that the offensive was stopped because of the damage suffered to Plant-3, hit by a stray salvo of artillery fire which set the processing plant on fire at 23:00 yesterday. A second explosion was registered at 3:10.
"The sub-refineries are a vital asset of the sector and neither side can afford to let them be destroyed," commented general Andrews.
Neither the MLF and REA have disclosed information on the number of casualties suffered.
